Product Returns

The following shipping information only applies to orders placed directly with Walthers. Orders placed with other hobby shops via this web site will have different return policies.

 
YOUR GUARANTEE -- RETURN AUTHORIZATIONS -- REPLACEMENTS

Items sold by Walthers are warranted to be as advertised and to be satisfactory to YOU. any item you find to be unsatisfactory may be returned to Walthers for credit or refund by returning it to us prepaid.

There are some exclusions to our return policy including, but not limited to, opened software, discontinued items, and some manufacturers that require their items to be returned directly to them.
It is your responsibility to see that we receive the merchandise in the original package, in saleable condition (unless defective when you receive it). You may return items up to 90 days after purchase. Please include a copy of your invoice/packing list.
Processing will be expedited by doing the following:
1. Please phone our retail Service Desk Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, CST, to request a Return Authorization Number (1-800-487-2467 or 1-414-527-0770). You will need to provide your customer number, the stock number of the item(s) to be returned and the reason for the return.
2. Include a letter of instruction in the package advising if you are requesting credit or exchange. Write your Return Authorization number on the outside of the shipping carton.
3. Pack carefully. We are not responsible for damage during the return shipment. We suggest that you insure your return package to us if it has a high-dollar value.

5. A 20% restock fee will be applied to returns which do not meet the above criteria.
